Meenora was born from a deeply personal journey of Meenakshi Kaushik, a certified nutritionist from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and someone who, like many Indian women, once saw hair as a symbol of beauty and confidence.

In her younger years, Meenakshi loved going to salons—excited by the glamour of hair styling, heat tools, and chemical treatments. Her hair looked fabulous after every visit, but with time, the damage began to show. The shine faded, the texture changed, and her once-healthy hair started feeling weak and lifeless.

When she turned to salons for solutions, the recommendations were always the same—international, high-end shampoos and conditioners priced far beyond everyday reach. These products may have worked for some, but they weren’t made for Indian hair or Indian lifestyles. And they certainly weren’t sustainable for most women in the long run.

That’s when a thought took root:
 “Why can’t we have products that are both truly effective and truly affordable?”

With her background in nutrition and a deep understanding of ingredients, Meenakshi started researching what actually works for Indian hair—and what doesn’t. For nearly three years, she and her team explored high-performance formulations that avoided harmful chemicals, yet offered results comparable to premium global brands.

But the real reward came after the launch.
 “When women began sharing their stories—how their hair felt healthier, how confident they felt—I got emotional,” says Meenakshi. “Because I’ve always believed that the market didn’t lack options, it lacked the right option at the right price.”
